As previously discussed here on The Shea Faithful, Monday nights are New York Mets nights all spring long, as we debuted Stache Radio on the TSB Radio Network Monday night, talking Mets for a solid 80+ minutes.
Stache Radio, a collaboration between The Shea Faithful, The Daily Stache, and Total Sports Blog, is all Mets talk all the time, covering everything Mets, from the MLB team in Queens down to short-season ball over in Brooklyn.
On last night's episode, we had Baseball Prospectus' Director of Scouting and Player Development Jason Parks on the show, as he discussed his hot-off-the-presses list of the Mets' Top 10 Prospects among other things, a segment that you can hear from about the 15-minute mark to 30-minute mark of the show.
Parks raved about some of the talent that the Mets will have in Brooklyn in 2014, and it's really a must-listen segment for Mets fans interested in an expert's opinion on what has become a very strong farm system overall.
We also talked about the position battles in camp this spring, including the first base job, the fifth-starter's job, and the bullpen. I may or may not have alluded to throwing a public party for Jenrry Mejia if he throws 150 innings.
All that and more on the debut episode of Stache Radio:
