Stache Radio Episode 11: Mike Silva Joins Matt and Jon as Mets Approach Trading Deadline

With the New York Mets playing a 4pm eastern time game today, the July 29 edition of Stache Radio moved to 3pm, for a little pregame Mets talk.

This week, Matt Falkenbury of the Daily Stache and yours truly, Jon Presser of The Shea Faithful, brought on Mike Silva, a terrific freelance baseball blogger.

Mike, Matt and I chatted about the impending MLB trade deadline, managing expectations, and how Sandy Alderson has dealt with the ups and downs of this team.

We had some technical difficulties in the late stages of the show, not unlike the Mets themselves, but we were able to finish strong after surviving some rough waters.
